out of character ----
role playing ----
graphics ----
• be respectful - not just to the admin, but to everyone.
• keep any personal drama out of the cbox. if you have trouble containing whatever problem you have with someone, take it somewhere else like MSN, AIM, or email.
• when you register your account, the username can be whatever you want it to be, but change the display name to your character's first, middle, and last names in all lowercase. ex. 'effie roxana callahan.' and it's always nice to see that's so fetch.
• if you're going to be missing for any amount of time, post in the going away thread. that way i won't freak out and wonder what happened to you. but, if you're gone for over three weeks without posting in the going away thread, i will delete your account. so make sure you post, possibly with an estimate of how long you'll be gone.
role playing ----
• this forum is literate and above. but, we have no word count. all we ask is that you post at least two paragraphs in each reply. if you're having writer's block, we understand! it happens to everyone, but please make sure you give us something to work with. obviously, that means no one-liners.
• can you handle more than one character? then, by all means go crazy! not really...but you get the point, right? you can have as many characters as you'd like, just as long as you keep them all active.
• i'd really prefer it if you kept the gender ratio of your characters about even. i realize that some people find it difficult to play one gender, but i'm proposing that if you make two ladies, please make a gentleman to even it out somewhat, or vice versa.
• this site is going to be rated T. as in for teenagers, if you didn't know that. if you feel that the thread you've created will be a higher rating, please put a M or R in the title for a little warning to other members.
graphics ----
• everybody likes to show off their character's pretty face, right? i know i do, so that's why there are graphics. just make sure you don't stretch the board, or there isn't any nudity. no one wants to see that. and if you're having trouble making graphics, feel free to ask a member if they'd make you some.
